Psalms 95:4 – značenje

Psalms 95:4 2026-11-04

U njegovoj su ruci zemaljske dubine, njegovi su vrhunci planina.

Što znači

Psalm 95:4 says that the deepest places of the earth and the highest mountain peaks both belong to God, held in his hand. Nothing in creation sits outside his authority: the hidden depths and the towering heights are equally his. The point is less about geography than about who holds the world together and who ultimately owns what seems vast and unreachable.

Za danas

Most of us live with a sense that much of life is out of our control: rising prices, a job that could vanish after a reorganization, a diagnosis we did not expect, a news feed that reports disasters faster than we can absorb them. Modern people also tend to treat the world as something to conquer, measure and extract from, whether it is mountains for tourism or the ocean floor for resources. This verse offers a different stance: the vast and frightening places are not ownerless, and we do not have to carry them alone. For a believer it is a comfort; for someone who does not share the faith, it can still prompt humility about how much we actually command.

Za ponijeti

Ako te danas nešto preveliko pritišće, podsjeti se da ni ti ne moraš sve držati u svojim rukama.
