1 Peter 4:9 – značenje

1 Peter 4:9 2026-10-17

Gostoljubivo primajte jedni druge bez mrmljanja!

Što znači

Peter asks Christians to open their homes and lives to others, and to do it without complaining or resenting the effort. The point is not just that hospitality happens, but the attitude behind it: generosity that is given freely rather than begrudgingly. The verse assumes hospitality costs something (time, food, space, comfort), and it names the temptation to grumble as the thing to resist.

Za danas

Most of us know the feeling: a friend asks if they can crash at your place, or your family plans a visit that wrecks your weekend, and you say yes while silently counting the hours you'll lose. Hospitality today often gets squeezed between busy calendars, small apartments and social media, where hosting can feel more like a performance than a real welcome. The verse invites a more honest question: can I give time to someone without keeping a running tally of what it costs me? It doesn't demand that you enjoy every inconvenience, only that you not turn your service into a quiet grievance.

Za ponijeti

Zapitaj se danas gdje se u tebi krije mrmljanje dok nekome nešto daješ, i pitaj se je li moguće to dati s većom lakoćom, ili je bolje priznati si iskreno da ti je teško.
