Proverbs 21:7 – betydelse

Proverbs 21:7 2026-10-31

De ogudaktigas övervåld bortrycker dem själva, eftersom de icke vilja göra vad rätt är.

Vad det betyder

Proverbs 21:7 says that the violence of wicked people will eventually turn back on them and sweep them away, because their refusal to do what is right leaves them with nothing solid to stand on. The verse is less a threat than an observation: people who live by force and deceit tend to undo themselves, since violence breeds fear, distrust, and isolation, and eventually no one will stand with them.

För idag

Think of the boss who runs the office through intimidation and humiliation, or the online personality who wins arguments by cruelty. For a while it can look like it works: targets get hit, rivals fall silent. But people quietly start updating their CVs, colleagues stop sharing information, and friends stop answering. The verse does not promise a neat punishment, and many wrongdoers do seem to prosper for years, so it is fair to hold that tension honestly. Still, in ordinary life, a reputation built on harm tends to be a fragile thing to live inside.

Att ta med sig

Den som bygger sin makt på andras rädsla får sällan behålla den länge, så det är värt att fråga sig vad man faktiskt bygger på i sina egna relationer idag.
