Proverbs 21:7 says that the violence of wicked people will sweep them away, because they refuse to do what is right. The verse is a kind of cause-and-effect observation: people who will not act justly end up undone by the very force they rely on. Their brutality is not a strength that lasts; it turns back on them, and their refusal to do what is right is what leaves them without footing.

You see this in workplaces where a manager who bullies and cuts corners keeps losing good people until nobody trusts him anymore, or in online arguments where someone who attacks and humiliates others ends up isolated and ignored by the same crowd that once cheered him on. It also shows up in business: companies that squeeze suppliers and staff or hide problems often collapse when the damage finally comes out. The verse does not promise a quick or neat punishment, and plenty of unfair people seem to get away with it for years. But it asks an honest question: what is your power actually built on, and will it still hold when you need it most?
