Psalms 126:6 – značenje

Psalms 126:6 2026-10-23

Išli su plačući noseći sjeme sjetveno: vraćat će se s pjesmom, noseći snoplje svoje.

Što znači

Psalm 126:6 uses the image of a farmer who goes out to sow seed while crying, because the seed is precious and the harvest is uncertain, a time of loss and worry. The promise is that the one who sows in tears will come back home singing with joy, carrying the harvest. It does not say the hard season is painless or quick, only that it is not the end of the story. The sorrow and the sowing are part of the same process that leads to a real return.

Za danas

Many people today sow in tears without anyone seeing it: a young person sending out job applications for months with no reply, someone rebuilding after a divorce or a failed business, a parent pouring energy into a child who is struggling, a caregiver giving everything to a sick relative. The verse does not tell them to stop feeling the grief or to pretend it is fine. It simply suggests that effort made in hard times is not wasted, even when the results are slow and invisible. It is also honest that not every harvest looks the way we planned, so the joy may come in a different form than expected.

Za ponijeti

Today, you can let the hard work you are putting in be heavy without deciding in advance that it will bring nothing back.
