Proverbs 27:7: semnificație
Proverbs 27:7 2026-10-21
Sătulul calcă în picioare fagurul de miere, dar pentru cel flămând toate amărăciunile sunt dulci.
Ce înseamnă
Proverbs 27:7 observes that when a person is already satisfied, even something sweet and good like honey becomes unappealing, but when someone is hungry, even bitter food tastes good. The point is about how need and abundance shape our sense of what is desirable: we value things according to what we lack, and satiety can make us indifferent to what we once wanted.
Pentru azi
Many of us live surrounded by abundance: endless streaming, notifications, shopping options, and offers. When we are overfed on these things, even genuinely good experiences feel flat, and we keep scrolling for something that satisfies. Meanwhile, someone who has been starved of rest, affection, or security may accept a bitter situation, like a job that drains them or a relationship that hurts, simply because it offers something they desperately need. The verse invites honesty about why we want what we want, and whether our appetite is really for what nourishes us.

Ask yourself today whether what you are craving is truly good for you, or whether you are simply hungry for relief or saturated by too much.
