2 Timothy 3:14: significato

2 Timothy 3:14 2026-10-13

Ma tu persevera nelle cose che hai imparate e delle quali sei stato accertato, sapendo da chi le hai imparate,

Cosa significa

Paul tells Timothy to hold steady to what he has been taught and become convinced of, and to remember who taught him. The point is continuity: the reliability of a teaching depends partly on the trustworthiness of the people who handed it down, and Timothy had been taught by people whose character he knew firsthand, including his mother and grandmother, as the letter notes just before this.

Per oggi

In a world of endless feeds, viral claims and anonymous advice, this verse asks a practical question: who is actually behind what I believe? Many of us absorb opinions about health, money, politics or faith from strangers online and rarely check their track record. The verse suggests a healthier habit: trust ideas more when you know the people who shaped them, and notice whether they lived out what they taught. It also invites a little honesty about the difference between being convinced and simply being loud or repeated often.
