2 Timothy 3:14 – betydning
2 Timothy 3:14 2026-10-13
Du derimod, bliv i det, som du har lært, og som du er bleven forvisset om, efterdi du ved, af hvem du har lært det,
Hvad det betyder
Paul is encouraging Timothy, his younger companion, to hold on to what he has been taught. The verse points to two things: the content of the teaching, which Timothy has learned and is confident in, and the people who passed it on to him, whose trustworthiness is part of why he can stand firm. It is less a command to believe something new than a call to stay steady with what is already familiar and well-founded.
Til i dag
Many of us today live in a constant stream of new opinions, apps, advice and hot takes, and it is easy to feel that what we were raised with is outdated or that we must keep reinventing ourselves. This verse invites a different question: who taught me this, and do I trust them? A parent, a teacher, a friend who stayed honest with you through hard years carries a weight that an anonymous feed never will. Staying faithful to what you have learned does not have to mean closing your mind; it can mean noticing where your convictions came from and choosing to keep the sources that have proven reliable, even when the pressure is to chase whatever is newest.
Til at tage med
Tænk i dag over, hvem der har givet dig de vigtigste ting, du tror på, og om du stadig kan stå ved dem.
